Puzzles

I had this great idea the other day to bring out one of my old puzzles and start putting one together. I used to LOVE puzzles when I was little. I think I always had one going. Well, because I don't have cable or really any channels at all at home, I thought this would be a good way to entertain myself. Let me just tell you that I have never put a puzzle together so quickly before in my life. I became ADDICTED to this puzzle. Once I sat down to start working on it, I could not stop. Literally - I couldn't get up and leave the puzzle. I stayed up until 12:30 last night until the puzzle was finished. It was ridiculous. I have no idea why - but I will not doing a puzzle again for a long time. I'm almost mad at myself with how much sleep I haven't gotten because I've stayed up late working on this darn thing. This is the culprit:

Now you know I'm completely strange and love puzzles.... =)

Yesterday we finished the 28 day challenge of reading through Matthew, which was so great. I was thrilled when I went to my church here in Dallas yesterday as our pastor shared that we will be in the book of Ephesians for the next few weeks. We will all be reading through the six chapters this week and I would love for you to join me if you would like. They are super short chapters, but so full of LIFE!

The verse I am clinging to today which I also pray over anyone who comes across this blog today:

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.

I beg of God today that He will give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. That He will enlighten our hearts to know: 1. Our calling 2. The riches of His glorious inheritance 3. His power!

I would love to join you in your reading. I was gonna try to talk Pete into doing another challenge. I was gonna start reading Mark, but I'll do Ephesians.
