curve ball

why is it that our emotions can throw us so many curve balls? one day you feel excited and hopeful, the next you feel like you've forgotten everything you've learned in life thus far. one day you really like someone, the next you don't. one day you really feel the presence of God, the next day you wonder if your prayers are being heard. one day you're confident of the season of life God has you in, the next you are wishing this season away.

the heart is deceitful above all things.

it's a month of breakthrough. i know it. i believe it. grab hold of it. join me if you'd like. He's speaking this to many people. we've got 4 weeks left in December. now is the time.

1 My son, if you accept my words
and store up my commands within you,
2 turning your ear to wisdom
and applying your heart to understanding—
3 indeed, if you call out for insight
and cry aloud for understanding,
4 and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,
5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD
and find the knowledge of God
Proverbs 2: 1-5
